Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar is an upcoming Bollywood Romantic Black Comedy directed by Dibakar Banerjee.
The film star Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra in the lead role. It is a story of a man(Arjun) and women(Parineeti) who represent an entirely different India.
Arjun will portray the role of Haryanavi Police Officer while Parineeti will be shown as somebody from the corporate world.
Both of the protagonists have nothing in common except their hate, mistrust, and suspicion towards each other.
Aditya Chopra produces the movie under the banner of Yash Raj Films. Anu Malik will compose the music for the film. The movie is slated to release on 1st March 2019.

The Principal Photography of this film began on 7 November 2017, and it was slated to release in August this year but due to a particular reason the release date is shifted ahead to more than a couple of months.
“It feels great to be back home at YRF working with Adi sir (Aditya Chopra) and Parineeti, my most amazing and first ever co-actor.
Dibakar Banerjee is a name similar to being the torchbearer of emerging new age cinema that engages and entertains. I can’t wait to work under his tutelage and vision.” Arjun said in a statement.

According to the reports, the shooting of the film was one month late due to the weather in the Indo-Nepal border and the filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee does not want to rush things and sacrifice the quality of the film hence they decided to change the release date.
Arjun Kapoor will be seen in India’s Most Wanted and Panipat, while Parineeti Chopra has Kesari and Jabariya Jodi in her Kitty.

On 17 January 2018, Arjun took to Twitter and announced the wrap of his 10th film, he also shared a picture which shows both the actors in their character listening to Director Dibakar Banerjee, he said:

On 30 March 2018, Yash Raj Films announced the new release date of the film on Twitter which is postponed from 3 August 2018 to 1 March 2019, they said:

The release date of Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar is postponed from 3 August 2018 to 1 March 2019 which the filmmaker believes is the best time for the release.
